Indy 2007! Always amazing! I don't think I have recovered yet from the weekend so this will be short. However, don't you worry, there will be plenty to share later this week. Hope you all enjoyed a fabulous Memorial weekend as well!
PS I don't know that guy in the black hat. AMF

#1

"Ozzie "The Wizard of Oz" Smith began his career with the San Diego Padres, but a lopsided trade sent him to St. Louis, where he made his mark as a Cardinal. Smith dazzled fans with his defensive brilliance, clutch hitting and customary backflip that saluted the hometown fans.

For all those who may have grown up in StL, you would appreciate this fun little thing. Yes that's right it's a flipping Ozzie Smith thing (yeah, I don't know what to call it). But it's Sweat!

Heat Up

It's getting warmer here, or should I say, you can start to feel the humidity. Let's just pray the rain holds off for Sunday in Indy- Indy 500!!! Yep, the annual ritual continues, this is the one event Zach and I don't like to miss. Yes, maybe it is a little bit of the 'Hick' in all of us, but truthfully, there is nothing like it. The start of the engines, and the roar of the cars after the pace laps are over, the beer, Mrs. Ike's fried chicken. It's all good! I'm sure I will fill you all in next week, I bet you can't wait.
Oh, and before I forget, a shout out to my nephew Sam- it's his 5th birthday today! Happy Birthday Sam!
Blog later- AMF.

A Kiss For Mama

Cash is so funny, he hangs out on the lazy boy all day. So today I decided to do my work on the floor and sit next to him to see what he would do. Well, I'll tell you, it was probably when I determined there must be at least 3 gallons of cold drool on my shoulder/arm that I decided to take a picture of us. He must have thought I needed to clean up a bit for the pic, then a lean in and a kiss, so smooth for such a big ophf (sp?). He is such a good boy. Did I mention he had his stitches taken out Saturday - his ear looks great, no more meatball grossness! Hopefully that's the last visit to the vet for awhile, lol, we say that every time. Okay- for real- AMF.

Wuz Up

Okay, sorry about the past few days, kinda crazy getting all the job interview shiz-nit going. But here we go, one was this morning. I feel pretty good about my portfolio and the whole process, surprisingly, I am really not all freaked out about it. Of course I had my nervous stomach this morning, but it's all good, I expected that to happen, it always does. Also, I had a ciggy, of course, this morning, but not after I was dressed to go to the interview - impressed yet? If not, this one is sure to get you – first I used this thing, a blow dryer I believe, on my hair. It was crazy that it can dry hair so quickly, I may convert. I think not. Finally, this will just blow your mind, I straightened my hair! AHHHHHHH! Man I feel like a woman!!! No make up though, I just couldn't risk looking like a fem-bot. I don't wear that shit normally, honestly, I really don't know how it all works. Thus, I'm not interviewing for the Ringling Bros. so I opted out of the makeup dept. this am. I should probably get on that though at some point in my life. Any-who-da-whater, wish me luck, I am so broke and need to work! I miss work, these stay at home pups are boring! Well that's about all for me today, AMF!

Who's your doggie?

This is my dog Cash, it was a gorgeous day and I just could not pass up taking some pics of the 'stay at home pups'. I am a real nerd sometimes, hopefully I start working again soon, not to say I'm not enjoying my time off, but it's time.

The 90's

I could not resist posting this commercial from the 90's. Yeah, it's kind of an inside joke but everyone can still appreciate LA GEARS, and remember the key chains that where attached to the laces? Right on, so Rodger Rabbit your way back to 1990, and don't forget your LA GEARS!

So I totally Googled, 'you're my boy blue', watched a little clipped. Thought to myself, that movie was pretty funny, I should watch it again soon. Then in the corner of my eye I spotted it, Will Ferrell, sitting on a stool with only a mic. "Okay, this should be good" I thought to myself, with in a moment, thought, wow, Gap totally should have done something like this for a commercial, how great, too bad SNL snagged that. Did you watch it yet? So two lessons here, I live in the mid-west, which I was reminded of how highly everyone else in the world thinks of us when I realized why I would not have seen this kick ass commercial for Gap. And thank you Gap, because it's mainly mid-west girls that buy your stuff. Let's face it, you're shit's not that hip or cool any more (at least not this season), but seriously, throw a kick ass commercial like that at me and i promise, I'll be in the store in a week to check out the goods (def. online with in a couple of days). Second lesson, it's not that hard to think Will Farrell may have come up with that and did it on a whim, maybe at his daughter's birthday party, but SNL? What was I thinking.

P.S. I'll admit it, I totally shop the Gap, I'm just being a bitch.

YIKES!

Okay, first, ouch! Second, look at that chick's face - wow, there may be some issues there.

I found this picture today online and just had to post it, for many reasons. They really don't matter, but please allow me to point out a few points of interest in this picture. There is the obvious and as I have already noted, crazy's (both are pretty good) face, but there is a third which really sealed the deal for me. Those familiar with the University of Dayton may have already noticed, the "X" on the hand! Do you think that's freshman (thurs.) night at Tims? Just a thought, I have a feeling we could see this picture again.

Allow me to introduce Cash the dog.

Cash the dog. I'll probably post a lot about this monster. Zach and I rescued him last August, we like to think he picked us. He is the best dog ever (most of the time), his name he received b/c he is our 'man in black'. Since I have been spending more time at home lately, I have gained an interesting insight into a day in the life of a stay at home pup. Sometimes I look over from doing my work and I just have to capture that moment. I'm sure there will be many more to come.

My first blog. This should be interesting, that's for sure.
